The Triple Bogey Tour is a series of three tournaments with a slightly different concept compared to the usual tournaments we have organized over the past 10 years. These three tournaments will focus on easier courses, a more relaxed approach to competition, and the organization of accompanying tourist activities.
All three rounds of the Triple Bogey Tour 2024 will be played exclusively in PDGA color categories open to both genders:
- Purple (rating up to 800)
- Green (rating up to 850)
- Red (rating up to 900)
- Gold (all players with a rating above 900)
Although there are two additional categories, White (rating up to 935) and Blue (rating up to 970), due to the expected smaller number of players with ratings over 900 at this year's tournaments, we have not included these categories. Therefore, all players with a rating above 900 will participate in the highest Gold category.
A player who was eligible to participate in a certain category in the first round of the tour (e.g., someone with a rating of 846 sufficient for Green) can participate in that same category in all three rounds of the tour, even if their rating exceeds the category limit in the meantime.
Additionally, any player can play in a higher category by rating if they choose (e.g., someone with a rating of 730 can play Purple but also any other category, etc.).
On the other hand, a player with a rating of, for example, 870 cannot play Purple or Green but only Red or Gold.
Players who are not PDGA members and do not have a rating can play in the Purple category only if they have not played PDGA tournaments before, or if they have played PDGA tournaments and their last 6 rounds averaged no more than 800 rating points. If those rounds average more than 800, they can play in the Green, Red, or MPO/FPO category. A player without a rating whose last 6 rounds average more than 850 rating points cannot play in the Green category but can play in the Red or MPO/FPO category.

Overall standings and awards
For the overall standings, each player earns points according to their placement in each competition, with first place earning 1 point, second place 2 points, and so on.
In the standings, the better players are those with fewer points, and theoretically, the best result of the entire tour is 3 points, for a player who won all three tournaments in their category.
All players who do not participate in one of the competitions will receive automatic points, which is the number of players who participated in their category (including players who did not finish the tournament but started the first round) plus 3 additional places. For example, if 7 players participated in the tournament, the player who did not participate will receive 10 automatic points.
The top three competitors in each category will receive a trophy.
For the Green, Red, and Gold categories, 5€ from each paid entry fee will be allocated to the category's prize fund. After the final round, the top 25% of players in each category will receive a gift voucher for purchasing equipment from the Lagoda Shop according to the distribution table.
In the Purple category (where the entry fee is lower), there will be no prize distribution for the top 25% of players; instead, only the top 5 participants in the overall standings will receive prizes.
