An Exciting Disc Golf Course |
The course offers a unique playing experience across 18 carefully designed holes, combining long and short fairways with thoughtfully positioned tees and baskets to ensure technical challenges for experienced players while remaining beginner-friendly. The standout feature of this course is its two setups—one tailored for more experienced players and another for those whose throwing ranges reach up to 100 meters, allowing everyone to enjoy the game, achieve birdies, and score below par for a strong PDGA rating. This course boasts a rich history, having hosted the 2018 European Disc Golf Championship ( watch the coverage ). Tournament participants can play on several holes where the biggest stars of the sport, such as Kristin Tattar and Simon Lizotte, competed, adding an extra layer of excitement and prestige to the experience. |
More Than Just a Sport |
In addition to the competition itself, tournament participants have the opportunity to enjoy a rich offering of tourist activities at Sveti Martin Spa Resort and its surroundings. From tours of local landmarks and wine tastings to relaxing by the pools and enjoying the water slides at the Martilandia Aquapark, every moment spent in Međimurje offers a unique experience. The tournament program also includes organized visits to attractive destinations such as nearby wineries and breweries, giving participants the chance to explore the region's rich gastronomic and cultural offerings. This unique experience makes Spa Hills not just a sporting event but also an unforgettable tourist experience. |
Everyone Is Welcome! |
Participation in the tournament is open to everyone—women, children, and beginners. The organizers pay special attention to ensuring quality conditions for participants from underrepresented groups in disc golf, offering them the opportunity to enjoy the sport and compete on equal terms. |

Competition
The Spa Hills tournament is played as a PDGA Tier C event, with no cash prizes awarded and without offering all AM/Pro and age categories.
Our guiding principle in organizing the tournament is to provide players with an unforgettable disc golf experience, where the accompanying activities are just as important as the play itself. Instead of focusing on cash payouts, as is common in the U.S. and other countries with a more developed disc golf scene, our goal is to create a competition that encourages participation out of pure love for the sport, personal enjoyment, or the improvement of PDGA ratings.
To reduce competitive pressure and create a more relaxed atmosphere, we emphasize camaraderie and the enjoyment of the game. We believe this approach fosters better conditions for the development of the sport and mutual connections among players.
Competition Categories
- MPO (mixed open category)
- FPO (women's open category)
- Rating-based PDGA categories for all genders:
- Red (players rated up to 900)
- Green (players rated to 850)
- Purple (players rated up to 800)
The mixed PDGA rating categories are designed to help players of similar skill levels develop mutual connections while leaving room for competitive spirit and striving for victory in their category. The absence of cash prizes further contributes to a more relaxed and fun atmosphere.
For players under the age of 18, we will open junior categories, depending on interest and regardless of the number of registered participants. Junior categories will be available for every age group from MJ06/FJ06 to MJ18/FJ18, provided at least one player registers in each category.
