Competition

The Masterpiece tournament is a PDGA Tier C event. Unlike other events that focus on cash prizes or a wide variety of categories, we focus on creating a memorable disc golf experience.

Our philosophy in organizing tournaments is to provide players with an unforgettable disc golf adventure where accompanying activities are just as important as the game itself. Instead of emphasizing cash prizes, as is common in the US and other countries with more developed disc golf scenes, our goal is to create a competition that encourages participation for the love of the sport, personal enjoyment, or improving PDGA ratings.

By reducing competitive pressure, we aim to foster a relaxed atmosphere that promotes camaraderie and the joy of the game. We believe this approach creates a better environment for developing the sport and building connections among players.

Competition Categories

  • MPO (Mixed Open Category)
  • FPO (Women's Open Category)
  • Mixed Rating Categories:
    • Red (Players rated up to 900)
    • Green (Players rated up to 850)
    • Purple (Players rated up to 800)

The mixed rating categories are designed to bring together players of similar skill levels, fostering connections while leaving room for competitive spirit and the fight for category wins. The absence of cash prizes further enhances the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

For players under 18, we will open junior categories, depending on interest and regardless of the number of registered participants. Junior categories will be available for each age group from MJ06/FJ06 to MJ18/FJ18 if at least one competitor registers.
