Cernik Disc Golf Open 2023 is a two-day tournament that will be played on May 27 and 28 2023 in Cernik, near the city of Nova Gradiška. The organizer of the tournament is the Flying Disc club Nova Gradiška, with the support of the Municipality of Cernik, while the executive organizer is Lagoda Disc Golf.
The tournament will be held as the 5th round of the Croatian Disc Golf League in the 2023 season.
The competition will take place on a 18-hole course, which will be arranged in the area next to Lake Bačica in the Municipality of Cernik.

Registration
Categories open for competition are MPO (open to male and female players), FPO (open female), Red (players of both genders PDGA rated up to 900), Green (players of both genders PDGA rated up to 850), Purple (players of both genders PDGA rated up to 800) and MJ18 (juniors up to 18 years old). Any player can register for a competition in a higher category (eg all players can register in MPO), but you can only play in a lower category if your rating allows it, eg someone with a rating of 801 cannot play Purple).
Players who are not PDGA members and do not have a rating can play the Purple category only if they have not played PDGA tournaments so far, or they have played PDGA tournaments and the last 6 rounds are not worth more than 800 rating points on average. If those rounds are worth more than 800 then they can play the Green, Red or MPO / FPO category. A player who does not have a rating and has more than 850 rating points in the last 6 rounds cannot play the Green category, but can play Red or MPO / FPO.
The number of participants is limited to 90, that is, the competition will be played in a maximum of 18 groups of 5 players.
The registration fee for the tournament in the MPO, FPO, Red and Green categories is €20, and €10 for the Purple and MJ18 categories, and includes the organization of the competition, a fee for the PDGA, a fee for the Croatian Flying Disc Association and a trophy for the winner of each category.
The participation fee will be paid in cash at the tournament to representatives of FDK Nova Gradiška.

Concept of play
The competition will take place in the following format:
Round 1 - groups will be formed with mixed categories and strength groups determined according to PDGA rating. We will try not to put players from the same clubs / countries in the same groups in the first round, so that through the game they can socialize with players they do not see regularly.
Round 2 - groups formed according to the result, mixed categories
Round 3 - groups formed by result, without mixing categories
Course
Baskets that will be used on 12 holes are locally produced, while Disc Golf Park targets will be used on 6 holes.
The tees will be covered with artificial grass turf.
The course map will be available during May.

Arrival and parking
There is enough parking for the players by the course.
Lunch
Lunch for tournament participants will be organized, and additional information will be published later.
Toilet
A toilet for participants will be provided at the course.
Accommodation
Accommodation for the participants is provided in the hostel Slavonia point (google maps location) in Šagovina Cernička, a 9-minute drive from the course.
Accommodation is possible in rooms with multiple beds, and the price per person is €20 for bed and breakfast and €25 for bed, breakfast and dinner. Tourist tax in the amount of €1.33 per person per night is added to the prices.
There are 10 rooms with 4 to 7 beds.
Breakfast is served from a buffet table, and dinner is served on the tables (1 plate per 5-6 people).
Photos and social networks
All the photos we take at the tournament will be added to the Google Photos Album at the end of each day and you can download them and use them for social networks.
