Zagreb disc golf open is a one-day PDGA Tier C tournament that takes place on Sunday March 27th 2022 in Zagreb.
This tournament is 2nd stage of the Croatian disc golf league 2022.
Local organizer of the tournament is Flying Disc Club Zagreb with the support of Lagoda Disc Golf who will provide course equipment.
The event is planned as beginner friendly but you can expect that course will include some challenging holes as well. The plan is to play three 13-hole rounds.
Registration fee for the tournament in the categories MPO, FPO and Green is 100 kn / ~ 14€, and in the Purple category 50 kn / ~ 7 €. Registration includes the organization of the competition, fee to the Croatian Flying Disc Federation and prizes for the first three players in MPO, FPO and Green, and a prize for the winner in the Purple category.

Players from abroad, in order to avoid paying bank fees, can pay the registration fee in cash on site.

Saturday 26.3.
10:00 Course will be open for practice.
Sunday 27.3.
9:30 Players meeting, tee 1
10:00 start of the Round 1 (expected duration is about 90-100 minutes)
12:15 start of the Round 1 (or later - 30 minutes after the final group completes Round 1)

Arrival and parking
There is not enough parking by the course for the players so recommended parking place is by the Hugo's bar. You can use the bar for coffee, drinks and toilett. It is located 5 minutes on foot from the course) (google maps location)
Registration
To sign up for the competition, open the registration page.
The competition is held in four categories MPO (men), FPO (women), Green (men and women PDGA ratted up to 850) and Purple (men and women PDGA rated up to 800 or without rating).
Each player can choose to participate in a higher category (eg players with a rating below 800 can play in Purple, Green or MPO / FPO), but cannot play in a lower category (eg a player with a rating above 800 cannot play in Purple).
The number of players is limited to 52 players.
